Location: I am currently in Nairobi, Kenya.

Work: Currently looking into getting a remote job. What do you mean I have to go to the office to sit on a computer to work on something that’s in a remote server in Europe? 😩
Just let me do it from a home office or something 😭

Open Source: Co-mentoring the Fedora Release Schedule Planner project through Outreachy’s May 2026 cohort. I was an intern on this project last year, and now I get to be on the other side — supporting the next intern through the same experience. I want to give back as much as I can.

Certifications: Working towards my CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer). Spending time in the labs, getting comfortable with workloads, configs, and the whole ecosystem.

Learning: Digging deep into how to speed up and optimize Django and Python projects — profiling slow queries, caching strategies, async patterns, and squeezing out performance where it matters.
I am also very interested in Go and Rust as of now. There’s so much to learn out there.

This site: Built with Astro and TailwindCSS. I’m using it as a place to think out loud, document projects, and practice writing regularly.

Outside: You’ll find me on hiking trails or on my bike when I’m not at a keyboard. Always looking for the next route.
